| >From: molly >So many great posts -- too many to reply to. Sophia, your >details about naltrexone were fascinating -- especially the part >about endorphins. Dr Alex's post on the same was also very >intriguing. Did I read it correctly that those of us of an addictive >bent can lose the "urge to merge," so to speak? That one continues to >be a problem for me, but I was putting it down to being tired, down >and too chubby to want to disrobe. Yikes (BLUSH), did I say that??!! Since you asked ... no since starting naltrexone I have not lost the "urge to merge" I don't know how old you are but ... going thru peri or menopause can cause this to occur ... or not being happy with our body image. Also sometimes in a long term relationship it can become "routine" and the urge is not as great ... And if he doesn't like your body... toughshit ... is he perfect????? a sharing like that (commenting on weight would certainly kill any drive I had.) |
