Symposium on Moderation Management given at the American Psychological Association (APA) convention, San Francisco, 8/25/01. Despite being scheduled at 8 AM in a difficult-to-find lecture hall, the symposium was attended by some 49 persons (standing room only!)

Dr. Rotgers, current chair of the Board, covers the decades of research supporting moderation approaches. Dr. DeLuca, who holds no official position in MM, discusses his experience working with MM patients, addresses fears that MM will sabotage recovery, and how MM can be used by problem drinkers and clinicians.
